- Statement to voters
I am a Royal Navy veteran of the Falklands War and I am standing as a Parliamentary candidate for West Worcestershire in the General Election on December 12th. I started my own business in fire and intruder alarms in 1996 and twenty-three years on much has been achieved through a combination of hard work, luck and good sense.
There is much that I feel needs improving in our country and many of these are issues that are prioritised in the Green Party’s manifesto.
The most important thing we need to address is:
Climate Change: The Green Party plans to invest 100 billion each year for the next ten years to play or part in addressing the global climate crisis. £91.2 billion a year will be borrowed, and the other £9 billion will come from changes in the tax system. The Green Party pledges to make Britain carbon neutral by 2030.
