Statement to voters

I have lived in Wiltshire for the past ten years and am keenly aware of environmental, social and economic issues facing people in this constituency. With management experience in both Care and Education sectors for the past 20 years, as well as teaching and counselling experience, I believe I could represent constituents effectively. Rising global temperatures already affect Wiltshire and unless action is taken urgently a continued rise will have catastrophic results globally. Action like
• clearing plastic pollution in local rivers
• preventing the construction of an incinerator in Westbury
• developing local projects to end the use of fossil fuels
• building sustainable resources
can be created in a way that improves pockets of rural poverty and urban deprivation and gives people opportunity and control.
This election is critical, we need truthful politics and cooperation and collaboration to tackle the crises facing the country and act to resolve them for the common good.
