Statement to voters

I have been an active and passionate Town Councillor in this Ward for 14 years where I have developed a good understanding of the workings of Conwy Town Council and have sat on all committees and been honoured to have been Mayor. Having seen the Town Council take on more and more responsibility but not receive any more decision making powers, I have come to a point where I feel I need to be closer to the decision making that affects the residents and businesses of Marl Ward. I love my Town Council work and am very pleased to be continuing in that work. If you vote for me to serve Marl Ward on Conwy County Borough Council I will be an active and passionate Councillor. I would like to represent the views of the electorate and to protect our area, in its cleanliness, in its environment, with its culture and character. I would also like to help ensure that our young people are inspired and encouraged to enjoy being part of a strong and vibrant community. If elected I will try my best to fulfil all expectations and continue to work with anyone who will work with me in improving the lives of everybody in this ward of Llandudno Junction.
