Statement to voters

"My name is Anthony Musk, and I am the Conservative candidate for Hollybush ward.

I have lived in Welwyn Garden City with my wife for several years, and recently we had our first child.

Over the years I have always been drawn to local politics, particularly at a grass roots level. Being able to make a small but noticeable difference in a particular area is what I feel Community should be about. Even something as mundane as getting a hedge trimmed could make a huge difference for a particular resident who might not be able to do it themselves.

With a family on the way, I feel it is time that I use my values as a family man, who prioritises the little things as much as the big, to take a step up from occasionally helping out to becoming a champion for my home area. I am willing to work alongside people from all parties to help achieve what’s best for local residents."
