Statement to voters

Stuart Herring has been selected as one of the Scottish Conservative candidates for Inverleith.

Stuart is extremely enthusiastic about the key features of Inverleith, including the vibrant areas within that have outstanding recreational facilities, places to live, local communities and local businesses, however he identifies that the ward needs to further improve and evolve.

Stuart is fully aware of the continuous poor performance by the existing council to the ward’s residents. Stuart's priorities for the Inverleith Ward are:

Fully remove Spaces for People and allow free flowing Infrastructure; Urgent maintenance and upgrading of all roads and pavements. The number of potholes in the ward is ridiculous and need urgent repair; Community Police to continuously police the ward and stop anti-social behaviour; The Council and Scottish Water to urgently review and stop the continuous flooding in the ward; Abolish the Garden Waste permit as per the Conservative Party proposal. Stuart is proactive with great people skills and empathy. He enjoys family walks along with his two dogs throughout Inverleith.

Stuart looks forward to getting out and speaking to as many residents as possible between now and May.
